Indera Mills is a family owned business with deep roots in North Carolina. Francis Henry Fries started the company in 1914 in Winston-Salem, North Caroilina. The Fries family had already established the first textile mill in the state in 1836 and was instrumental in starting the apparel indusry in North Carolina . Today, Indera Mills is owned and managed by the fourth generation of the Fries family.

The INDERA brand of thermal underwear is a popular priced line sold throughout the United States. It encompasses the most complete offering of fabrics, colors, and sizes for mens, women and youth. Fabrics range in weight from 4.5 ounces to 10 ounces. Product fibers include cotton, poly-cotton, polypropropylene, merino wool, and HydroPur polyester.

The COLDPRUF brand is new for Fall 2009. It is a natural extension for Indera Mills featuring innovative performance products designed for the skier, snowboarder, hunter and outdoorsman. Important features include the new CPT performance fiber and the ThermaChoice rating system.

All Indera Indera Mills fabrics are produced in our own facilities in North Carolina. Prroducts are sewn and packaged in our own plants in Mexico.
