Today Contempora Fabrics operates 165 machines in a 150,000 square foot facility on 29 acres and is known for a versatile product mix and capacity to manufacture 2 million pounds of fabric each month.  Contempora has a large impact on the community of Lumberton, NC and supports local charities and employs school youth during their summer break.  Our success is a direct result of hard work and dedication of our employees---our greatest asset.

We at Contempora Fabrics are not content with our past success.  Adaptation to shifting demands in the ever evolving textile market is something that we embrace and prepare for. As evidence we have recently added capacity in body size,  fine gauge body size machinery, as well as three-end fleece equipment. We felt this necessary to venture into due to the lack and disappearance of quality United States suppliers in these specialized markets. Contempora Fabrics also embraces the movement toward sustainable textile products and environmentally friendly manufacturing processes. We have expanded our fabric library to include products that utilize recycled polyester, bamboo, cocona, and many other natural and environmentally friendly fibers.
