Anne’s involvement in sustainable fibers began in 1998, when she was a product manager at Mountain Equipment Co-op, and converted their entire cotton program over to organic.  It is still a hugely successful and iconic program for MEC.   In 2003 she started Agility Consulting, and helped companies from all parts of the supply chain and from around the world work with organic cotton. During that time she gained further insight into the market through her roles as Board Member for the Organic Trade Association, Chair of the Organic Fiber Council, and Program Co-ordinator for the Organic Fiber Education Initiative.  She was also a founding member of Organic Exchange, and is currently a member of their Board of Directors.

In 2005 she founded Continuum Textiles with Stuart Adams.  The company vision is to 'move industry towards improved product sustainability', and they are doing so through the products and expertise they offer.  Continuum represents socially and environmentally responsible supply chains in Australia, India, China and Indonesia.
